We’ve teamed up with Everyman Cinema on the King’s Cross Canal for another consecutive year to bring you a selection of hand-picked movies to enjoy al fresco this summer.
Tuesday 8th July, 7.30pm– Hoppers Presents: Bend It Like Beckham
A feel-good favourite and cultural touchstone, Gurinder Chadha’s coming-of-age film broke ground as one of the first UK productions to explore British-Asian identity on the big screen — with unforgettable performances from Parminder Nagra and Keira Knightley.
Tuesday 22nd July, 7.30pm – Hoppers Presents: Life Of Pi
Adapted from Yann Martel’s bestselling novel, this epic tale follows Pi Patel, the son of an Indian zookeeper, as he finds himself stranded at sea with only a Bengal tiger for company. A story of survival, faith, and imagination — all brought to life through Ang Lee’s Oscar-winning direction.
Tuesday 5th August, 7.30pm – Hoppers Presents: The Jungle Book (2016)
Inspired by Rudyard Kipling’s classic tales and rooted in the Indian jungle, this visually spectacular adventure reimagines Mowgli’s journey with jaw-dropping CGI, a star-studded voice cast, and all the heart of the original.
We’ll be handing out complimentary banana chips during each screening, and offering £6 cocktails at Hoppers King’s Cross to enjoy after the film, alongside our main menu and snacks menu for the perfect late night treat.
