Jaffna Crab Kari is back!

Back by popular demand and just in time for Father’s Day, our iconic Jaffna Crab Kari returns for one weekend only from 13 to 15 June.

There’s something about seafood that brings people together. Messy, hands on and full of flavour. And when it comes to dishes that turn a meal into a celebration, this one takes the crown.

Our much loved kari is a tribute to the spice rich cuisine of Sri Lanka’s northern coastline, especially the Jaffna region, where karis, roasted spice blends and seafood are the soul of the kitchen.

Made with sweet Blue Swimmer crab, roasted coconut, Jaffna curry powder, green chillies and tamarind, it’s a dish traditionally saved for special gatherings.

Whether you’re raising a toast to Dad, gathering with chosen family or simply here for the crab, this is a meal made for celebrating.

Available 13 to 15 June across all Hoppers locations as an à la carte special for £26, or upgrade your curry in the Hoppers Experience menu for a supplementary £12 per person.
