Cyclone Ditwah Emergency Relief Fund

Support Families Impacted by Cyclone Ditwah

On 28 November 2025, Cyclone Ditwah made landfall in Sri Lanka, causing catastrophic flooding, landslides and loss of life. It is the deadliest natural disaster the island has faced in years.

Communities across all 25 districts have been affected, including many of the children and families supported through our Feeding The Future initiative. Thousands are now displaced, cut off, or facing severe shortages of food, clean water and essential supplies.

We have our ears to the ground and are working closely with our partners at Hemas to respond in the most immediate and meaningful ways, from rebuilding and repairing damaged school infrastructure as soon as it’s safe to access, to supporting the hardest-hit families with emergency funds, food and temporary shelter.

We’re also preparing for a looming food shortage by providing rations and essential supplies, while working with local teams to protect children and prevent outbreaks.

If you’re able to help, even in a small way, please consider donating here. Every contribution will go directly towards supporting affected children, families and communities.

To everyone who has already donated, messaged, shared, or simply kept Sri Lanka in your thoughts, thank you. It means more than you know.
