Calling all brunch lovers!!

Join us every Sunday at St Christopher’s Place for a Sri Lankan twist on brunch classics!

Fresh off the plane from a research trip to the island, the team have crafted a menu of kothus, karis and dosas for an indulgent Sunday family-style brunch.

Kick-off brunch with a new selection of fiery short eats including devilled chicken sausage and punchy green peppercorn squid, followed by a twist on the traditional kothu roti with bacon and mushroom or beans and cheese. For the main event, karis include tender overnight mutton and omelette kari, served alongside the classic egg hoppers or decadent chilli cheese dosas.

Wash it all down with our Sunday special, Smoked Gorakha Bloody Mary, or one of Hoppers’ famous Arrack punches.

That’s Sunday done right!

In late July 2018, the worst floods in nearly a century affected the state of Kerala in South India as a result of unusually high rainfall during the monsoon season. over 350 people died within a fortnight, whilst at least 82,400 people have been displaced.

Many of our kitchen team call Kerala their home, and so much of our food at Hoppers is inspired by the culture and cuisine of Kerala, so this is a cause close to our heart.

On Sunday, 2 September, we will be putting on a vegetarian Sadya Feast at Hoppers Soho from 12-5pm to raise funds for the flood relief efforts. Seats will be available on a first come first served basis. Every member of staff working on the day will be volunteering their day off. Our suppliers have stepped up to support the cause with free/subsidised stock, and all the rest will be covered for by us. EVERY PENNY WE COLLECT ON THE DAY (NOT JUST OUR PROFITS) WILL GO TOWARDS THE RELIEF WORKS BEING CARRIED OUT IN KERALA.

We hope to see as many of you as possible on Sunday.

Across September, £1 from every bill will be donated towards the flood relief efforts in Kerala.

We came, we saw, we conquered!

This year we held fort at Taste of London for the full 5 days, and what a fantastic experience it was!

Thank you to everyone who came down to see us, and enjoyed our  signature Tamarind Chicken Wings, Paneer Kothu Roti and Love Cake ice cream sandwiches!

Our Exclusive Taste of London dish, the  Colombo Black Pork Sausage wrap went down a treat, creating a frenzy on social media.

The cherry on top had to be our live demo at The Fire Pit where we fired up a Ceylonese Whole Roast Black Pork Belly (with all the trimmings), billed as one of the best BBQ dishes of 2018!

We’ll be doing it all over again at Taste of London Winter. See you there!
